Welcome to My Side of the Barn.

Growing up at the end of a dusty gravel road taught me that every field looks different depending on where you're standing. Over the years, I've learned that we cannot change the seasons we've already lived, but we can come to see them differently when we look back at what they grew.

Through hardship, grief, and healing, I began to understand that where we stand changes what we see. Farmer Willow was born from that realization. She became a way of stepping outside my own story long enough to see it through quieter eyes. Through farm life, ordinary moments, and the gentle wisdom of the Good Shepherd, I began to discover that God was often at work long before I recognized His hand.

The stories you'll find here aren't really about barns, gardens, or gravel roads. They're about learning to see familiar places differently. They're about finding purpose in empty baskets, hope in forgotten fields, grace in unfinished seasons, and discovering that nothing God tends is ever wasted.

My hope is that somewhere along Willow's journey, you'll begin to see your own story with fresh eyes. Not because your past has changed, but because sometimes the harvest reveals what the planting never could.

So come walk with me down that dusty gravel road that leads home. We'll take it one story at a time, discovering together that where we stand changes what we see.

There's room for your story here, too.
